General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management) Indie Education is an Independent School and Registered Training Organisation that provides education and training to support young adults to re-engage back into education.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Executive Manager to oversee the States of SA and WA.
It will require regular travel in order to complete the duties of the role.
The position will be based at one of our existing educational sites in Midland, WA.
About the Role:Reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) and working within a dynamic and vibrant Executive Team, this pivotal role will involve:
Leading, managing, guiding, and motivating staff, as well as overseeing a wide array of functions, projects, and educational programs across designated locations throughout Australia.This is a hands-on role that requires you to actively participate alongside teams and within them, with a focus on training, informing, and contributing to the development and implementation of strategies that align with the company's vision and mission.Responsible for cultivating a positive work culture, fostering staff growth, and maintaining high levels of management excellence within your portfolio.
Furthermore, a commitment to continuous improvement, compliance, efficient service delivery, and the demonstration of advanced problem-solving skills, outstanding negotiation abilities, and effective communication skills are essential.Skills and Experience: Experience in performing ongoing evaluations on business systems and processes towards implementation of improved efficiencies and resolution of issues.Ability to drive important strategic, policy, and procedural decisions, achieving improved quality compliance.Experience in applying goals and objectives for teams/clusters of people to achieve set targets.Ability to produce documented plans and proposals.Outstanding presentation, written, and oral communication skills, including building relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.A demonstrated understanding of human resource management and principles.Demonstrated experience in the preparation and monitoring of annual business development plans, strategic plans, and the implementation of the approved strategies.Qualifications and Experience: A Diploma or higher, in either field of Education, Business, or Management.Knowledge and experience in either the School or the Vocational Education and Training sector will be highly regarded.Relevant and proven experience in an Executive position(s) with a national approach would be highly regarded.For this position with our company, applicants must be willing and able to provide annually:
