We are on the lookout for a highly motivated individual to lead as the Executive Manager for the Network Services team within the Infrastructure Operations Division. The role is integral to the Technology Portfolio's role and responsibility to continuously improve IT communication services across the state for WA Police Force.
THE ROLE OF THE UNIT The Western Australia Police Force, Technology Portfolio uses some of the most innovative and state of the art technologies to provide essential ICT services across the largest policing jurisdiction in the world. This covers over 200 Police sites and 15 different Policing districts across the state. These services cover commercial grade data centre infrastructure, secure and complex anywhere communications (including LEO services) covering 1500+ communication devices across Police sites and vehicles, emergency 000 delivery, essential MS Azure and AWS cloud environments plus effective end user devices ranging over 15,000 end points.
THE ROLE This position manages the operations of Infrastructure Network Services which includes telephony, data and video services (including emergency call taking and dispatch), and a Unified Communication environment. Ensures optimum management of contracts for the provision, operation, maintenance and support of business information systems communication and network infrastructure.

The unit works with partnerships to identify, coordinate and strengthen crime-prevention strategies through public awareness campaigns, policy action and community consultation to implement sustainable community crime-prevention solutions.
Neighbourhood Watch is a long-standing community based program aimed at encouraging neighbours to work together to reduce crime and make their communities safer. Neighbourhood Watch partners with local governments and the wider community to create networks and educate the public on home-safety.
