The Executive Manager Technical Operations role is responsible for the daily operations of the technical environment, overseeing the infrastructure and applications hosted in a complex and highly integrated ICT environment, and ensuring availability of systems and services through an effective technical response to ICT incidents and disruptions.

The role will assist in effective incident and problem management and will coordinate cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement across ICT services.
We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes: Expert technical knowledge across networks, applications, infrastructure, security and ICT solutions and the proven ability to manage an ICT establishment including contributing to high level planning, achieving identified outcomes and meeting key performance indicators.Proven experience working in an outsourced ICT environment, undertaking supplier management against service level agreements, monitoring performance against service level agreements, and cultivating effective working relationships to deliver continuous improvement.Maintain current knowledge in best practice ICT standards, relevant legislative requirements, policies and procedures to ensure compliance obligations are met.Highly developed communication skills including the ability to build and maintain beneficial professional networks, work collegiately with stakeholders and write professional, high-quality documents for the consumption of senior managers, external audiences and other stakeholders.Demonstrated high level leadership skills and experience in providing advice relating to ICT issues to customers, senior management and team members.The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role: Whilst not mandatory, a tertiary or postgraduate qualification in an ICT/information management discipline will be highly regarded.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
