The Executive Manager ICT Service Operations role leads and manages the ICT service operations team to ensure operational stability of a complex and highly integrated ICT environment, providing security, availability, responsive support and system reliability through effective leadership, appropriate resourcing and informed optimisation of existing services and solutions.
We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes: Extensive technical knowledge across networks, applications, infrastructure, security and ICT solutions and the proven ability to manage an ICT establishment including contributing to high level planning, achieving identified outcomes and meeting key performance indicators.Proven experience working in an outsourced ICT environment, undertaking supplier management against service level agreements, monitoring performance against service level agreements, and cultivating effective working relationships to deliver continuous improvement.High level knowledge of relevant digital and ICT legislation, policies, and procedures with a demonstrated ability to provide specialist expertise and advise within a complex organisation.Highly developed communication skills including the ability to build and maintain beneficial professional networks, work collegiately with stakeholders and write professional, high quality documents for the consumption of senior managers, external audiences and other stakeholders.Well-developed leadership skills and the proven ability to manage and coordinate internal and external stakeholders in order to effectively and efficiently prioritise work and meet operational deadlines and objectives, in a dynamic environment of competing priorities and agendas.The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role: Whilst not mandatory, a tertiary or postgraduate qualification in an ICT/information management discipline will be highly regarded.The incumbent will be required to travel on official business and the possession of a "C" class driver's licence is required.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
