Permanent Role Sydney based How will I help?
To drive the improvement of Cortex, Democratisation & AI services to transform how Westpac business teams embed analytics and AI into how they operate. The role combines research and innovation in analytics and AI services, looking at world class, futuristic outcomes, while also ensuring that DSCAA services achieve operational excellence by working with the DSCAA teams, platform, engineering and architecture to deliver scalable, user friendly and reliable services. You will:
Lead Artificial Intelligence Services on behalf of DSCAA including service blueprint, service roadmap and E2E service delivery. Create the business case to fund a roadmap of capabilities, features and enhancements to AI Services and execute this on time, in budget ensuring service objectives are met. Work across DSCAA services, Cortex, Democratisation and AI services with the purpose of enabling the transformation of how Westpac business teams embed analytics into how they operate. Lead the research into and definition of DSCAA services to ensure they incorporate industry trends and target world class outcomes. Define service excellence objectives to ensure DSCAA services are scalable, reliable and user friendly. Lead the definition, design and implementation of technical capabilities to achieve the DSCAA service excellence objectives. Define, plan and run an industrialised approach that prepares Westpac to experiment and adopt rapidly to take advantage of industry breakthroughs. Lead the Advanced Analytics team including performance management, coaching, mentoring and career support. Work closely with Platform/Engineering/Run and Architecture to ensure service requirements and objectives are supported by architectural roadmaps/patterns and Platform capabilities. Main accountabilities include: Accountable for the people leadership of staff, partners and contractors required to deliver service excellence and AI service outcomes. Accountable for the Advanced Analytics & AI product/service and related business facing roadmap. Accountable for Advanced Analytics & AI service quality and OLA's and overall service excellence of DSCAA services. Responsible for delivering new features, capabilities and tools on time and on budget as per committed technology proof points where applicable. Accountable for the research, documentation and communication of Democratisation, Analytics and AI papers and thought leadership to support DSCAA, Data Platforms, Technology and Westpac strategic discussions and alignment. What do I need? Demonstrated experience in Data Analytics, Democratisation, Data Science, ML.AI domain knowledge Proven experience in technology product ownership and delivery Demonstrated experience in leading the Advanced Analytics team including performance management, coaching, mentoring and career support. Experience being responsible for delivering new features, capabilities and tools on time and on budget Experience in senior stakeholder management SAFe AGILE experience and knowledge What's it like to work there?
