The City Renewal Authority is charged with shaping the growth of the central parts of Canberra to make it a great place to live, explore and enjoy.This role reports directly to the Authority's CEO and Board and provides an opportunity for a highly motivated executive with exceptional leadership skills, communications, marketing, along with financial acumen, and a sound understanding of urban place making and activation to make a mark on Canberra's City Centre and surrounds.Candidates will be strategic thinkers with demonstrable capabilities in organisational management, governance, communications, marketing, financial strategy, and fostering a high-performance culture across the organisation. To satisfy the demands of this role, candidates would require extensive experience in business operations of a dynamic organisation.The role requires a person that has an established strategic perspective, exceptional leadership, and complex problem-solving skills in an operationally diverse work environment.Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $321,988 – $334,882, depending on the current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $286,536.Contract: The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years.
