Executive General Manager Pre-Contracts

Details of the offer

About Abergeldie Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure was established in 1994 by its co-founders, Mick Boyle and Robin Craig, driven by a dedicated mission to build better communities. From humble beginnings, the company has grown and expanded across Australia and New Zealand, and we now employ over 700 skilled professionals. Ingenuity, innovation, and determined attention to project planning and management have built our reputation as a leading contractor with a diverse range of capabilities.
About the Opportunity With phenomenal growth over the last several years, we are looking for an Executive General Manager to join our Executive Team to drive our future growth strategy and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Abergeldie.
As a key member of our Executive team, reporting to our CEO, you will be responsible for the full life cycle of our pre-contracts function, from opportunity identification, opportunity positioning, and campaign planning through to tendering, negotiation, and contract signing, to ensure that Abergeldie achieves its growth goals.
This role will further harness our capabilities and strengthen our market position, leading us into the next phase of growth at Abergeldie.
What you'll bring to the team You will be a strong relationship builder, strategic thinker, and someone who enjoys challenging the status quo. You will have exceptional relationship development and communication skills and have previous success in leading and developing teams and proven experience in developing new business within the civil construction sector. You will be well connected in the market and have established relationships at the executive level.
You will be a natural problem solver who enjoys solving complex problems and partnering with clients to provide innovative solutions. Your strengths will be in the front-end strategic planning, pre-positioning, and campaign planning. Additionally, you will possess a strong understanding of the supply chain, effectively collaborating with sub-consultants, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers to bring an innovative and differentiated value offering to our clients. We are looking for someone who will actively build and strengthen Abergeldie's reputation in the market and someone who will be an inspiring leader, who will effectively coach and mentor their teams to deliver on our business strategy.
Why you should work with us At Abergeldie, we firmly believe that our purpose is just as important as what we do. We pride ourselves on our commitment to give back to the communities where we live and work. We collaborate with our clients to deliver the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities. Our approach is underpinned by the application of professional engineering and management standards akin to those of major industry players. Yet, we maintain a unique culture characterised by collaboration, accessibility, and adaptability, allowing us to adapt seamlessly to the diverse needs and distinctive requirements of both clients and the broader community.
Our people are what make Abergeldie successful, and we make sure that this is the kind of place where great people enjoy working for the long term. We offer a range of employee benefits including the Abergeldie Bonus Scheme, where all eligible employees share in the benefits of the projects they have helped to deliver. When we deliver winning projects, we celebrate success together!
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company, where you will have the ability to influence change and play a key role in shaping our future success.
If this sounds like you, APPLY NOW or contact Hayley Urriola at ****** or 0437 242 257 for more information.
