They exist to provide a clear, collective voice for suicide prevention, so that together they can save lives. Suicide Prevention Australia engages with Member organisations, governments, businesses, researchers, practitioners, and those with lived experience seeking to reduce the impact of suicide on the community.About the roleThe Executive General Manager (EGM) will play a pivotal role within the organisation, directly reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The EGM will be responsible for overseeing and driving the organisation's business development, membership strategy, member services, marketing, and events. This leadership position requires a strategic and operational focus to ensure the highest standards of excellence across all functions.Key Responsibilities:Lead business development, membership strategy, member services, marketing, and events.Ensure operational excellence in member engagement, marketing, sponsorships, events management, research and development, and business development.Collaborate with the executive team to align with the organisation's vision, purpose, and strategic goals.Experience & Skills:Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.Experience in preparing board reports.Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.Excellent team leadership qualities and strong mentoring capabilities.Qualifications:Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.Extensive experience in leadership and people management.Excellent communication, negotiation, facilitation, and networking skills.How to apply:Beaumont People is retained to recruit this position on behalf of Suicide Prevention Australia.
