The Executive General Manager Gaming role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer The Star Sydney and is accountable for the development and execution of commercial strategies and initiatives that contribute to revenue, margin and profit growth for Gaming related business units at The Star Sydney. With overall leadership and management of Gaming and associated teams, the Executive General Manager Gaming will drive transformation and change, defining the service and operating culture of the division.

A few of your responsibilities: Implement and maintain the highest level of standards for all Gaming components of the business to assure visibility and perception of The Star Sydney as a world-class Gaming destination.Identify and develop a Gaming strategy based on understanding of the local market and industry trends and ensure dynamic execution of strategic plans to drive market share, revenue and profitability.Develop strategic business relationships with key partners to secure first to market and beneficial commercial opportunities.Maximise new initiatives and opportunities through leveraging property scale, competitive differences and assets.Foster an innovative, solution-oriented work environment, motivating and engaging team members to continuously deliver the best possible experience for our guests.Ensure a strong communication platform and relationship is built and maintained between The Star Sydney, regulatory bodies, government entities and other key stakeholders.What we are looking for: Minimum of 10 years of gaming experience including an extensive record in Casino management.Tertiary qualifications in a commercial or business field preferred but not essential.Strong analytical skills.Demonstrated ability in:Planning and resourcing people and products.Controlling labour costs and operating expenses.Performance management.Understanding, complying and operating in a highly regulated gaming environment.About you: You are highly experienced in Gaming operations where you have led and inspired diverse, customer-facing teams. With a dynamic communication style, you clearly convey business expectations aligned with best practice and drive accountability. You thrive in fast-paced, regulated environments where your integrity and ethical approach ensures the highest level of compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with our purpose, values and principles.
