Executive Director - Regional and Specialist ServicesGeneral/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management)Full time$195,887 - $210,000 + Super + Salary SacrificeThe Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH), a large networked urban Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation, was established by its founding members in 2009 to provide a coordinated and integrated approach to the planning, development, and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within South East Queensland.About the Role:As a member of the Executive Leadership Team reporting directly to the IUIH Chief Executive Officer, this position is responsible for overseeing IUIH's regional service delivery obligations, including specialist services, a broad range of allied health services, comprehensive primary care, oral health services, family health and wellbeing services, and mental health and addiction services.Your responsibilities include:Demonstrate leadership, promoting a culture of integrity, integration, collaboration and respectSupport the work of the CEO and IUIH Executive in advancing the broader strategic objectives of the organisationOversee operations of the Regional and Specialist Services Business Unit, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources; robust governance of healthcare quality and safety; and commitment to the direction provided by our clients, families and communityOversee the planning, development, revision, and refinement of business unit budgets, and ensure operations are delivered efficiently and effectively within budgetActively support the growth and development of a skilled, knowledgeable and responsive workforce, with appropriate delegation to manage their areas of responsibility and expertiseAbout You:Purpose and values-driven approach, with a commitment to the principles and practice of Aboriginal community controlExperience leading and implementing large-scale health and related service initiativesHigh level management experience working within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled health sector, or in a comparable not for profit, government or private sector organizationWhat Can we Offer?Be part of Australia's largest community controlled Aboriginal Health ServiceEnjoy a competitive salary package, with opportunity to salary sacrificeWe offer a diverse, inclusive and collaborative workplaceFind personal and professional satisfaction working in a network of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services that are truly making a difference
