About the role
The Executive Director is a temporary role within the Office of the Secretary established to drive greater collaboration, including strategic initiatives, across the portfolio.
By partnering closely with senior leaders, this role identifies and implements innovative solutions, consistent with the new strategies and policies across the portfolio.
The role will lead a small team but must have exemplary stakeholder relationship and leadership skills to coordinate the implementation of initiatives and work with senior leaders within the department and across agencies.
About You
As a seasoned leader, you excel at building strong relationships and fostering collaboration within dynamic and demanding environments. Your proven track record of delivering results, coupled with your calm demeanor and sense of urgency, sets you apart. Your deep understanding of the government landscape, including key stakeholders and their priorities, is essential for navigating complex political environments.
You have demonstrated executive experience and a proven track record in leading diverse teams and delivering complex programs, policies, and projects within tight timeframes and budgets, across government while managing political sensitivities with high public interest.
