About the organisation
Established in 1979, Mallee Family Care (MFC) is a large and diverse services provider, delivering a wide range of services to the communities of the Mallee region, covering north-west Victoria and south-west New South Wales. With a vision to empower the vulnerable and disadvantaged in these communities, MFC employs almost 300 staff and delivers in excess of sixty child and family support programs and services in the fields of family, youth and children, disability, mental health, housing and settlement, legal, financial, research and education.
About the role
The Executive Director People, Culture and Performance is responsible for driving the strategic success of MFC through leadership and oversight of the design, delivery and implementation of the organisation's strategy. A trusted adviser to the Chief Executive Officer, the appointee will ensure MFC has the right tools in place to promote a positive, high-performing workplace culture, including embedding ongoing development and support for team members, and current and emerging leaders. Through the provision of strategic and operational expertise on all people-related matters, the role will enable MFC to be the employer of choice in the region.
About you
Inspired by the vision and purpose of MFC, you are an accomplished human resources leader with a strategic mindset. Underpinning your well-rounded skillset across strategic and operational priorities, is your systems-thinking approach to quickly understand the operating landscape, enabling you to 'hit the ground running'. An exceptional generalist, you have outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to engage at all levels, and are well-versed in employee relations matters with a focus on identifying practical solutions. Leverage your passion for optimising organisational culture to support an organisation providing important community services across the Mallee region.
