Executive Director Finance and ProcurementCorporate ServicesPosition number: 008120Work type: Fixed Term - Full TimeLocation: Perth CBDThis advertisement is for a fixed term full-time appointment for five years.ABOUT THE ROLEAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, highly motivated, outcome-driven individual to join the senior executive team as Executive Director of Finance and Procurement within the Corporate Services division at the Department of Justice.The Executive Director Finance and Procurement reports to the Deputy Director General Corporate Services and is responsible for leadership and management in the areas of strategic financial policy, financial management systems, finance planning, agency budget and performance reporting that enables effective decision-making relating to the Department's use of financial resources. This position leads and is responsible for the Finance and Procurement Directorate of the Department of Justice. This position also undertakes the Department's Chief Financial Officer accountability, ensuring compliance with all government, policy, legislation and accounting standards. Effective planning and use of financial resources has a direct impact on the provision of corrective services by the Department in both the short term and long term.The successful applicant will assume a pivotal role in providing leadership and exhibit a personal commitment to high-quality customer service, teamwork, equity, integrity and personal learning.
