We are currently seeking a strategic and visionary leader to join our leadership team as the Executive Director, Customer and Business Operations.Reporting into Valuation NSW's Chief Executive Officer, you will provide strategic leadership to enhance performance and drive improvements across customer service and business operations for the organisation. You will be instrumental in leading technology renewal and transformation, innovating commercial arrangements, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer services and valuation data.You will also be responsible for providing strategic insights to balance the competing needs to operate in a commercially focused way, including addressing sector priorities and constraints and upholding the integrity and independence of the Valuer General's statutory role.This newly created role provides an exciting opportunity to champion a culture of innovation and improvement by leading teams through transformative changes in business processes and customer service practices. About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have a track record of overseeing and driving technological transformations for improved efficiencies with proven success in setting and achieving targets for streamlined business processes. You will also have a strong understanding of commercial valuation functions and a background in delivering high-quality customer service.It is essential that you have strong political acumen with the ability to navigate complex and contentious environments, particularly in relation to complex special valuation projects. You will also need to possess excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills as you will be required to monitor performance expectations, service delivery standards and contracts.Additionally, you will demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills with a focus on driving and fostering a team culture which embraces change, innovation and continuous improvement.If you are a strategic leader with a passion for driving innovation and delivering exceptional customer service in a challenging environment, we want to hear from you! Valuation NSW provides services to, supports, and where appropriately delegated, delivers relevant functions on behalf of the Valuer General of NSW. This includes: Defining and setting the standards and policies for the land valuation system for rating and taxing purposes along with the determination of compensation through the compulsory acquisition process to ensure integrity within the NSW Government is upheld.Making valuations as well as, monitoring, quality assurance and governance pertaining to the quality of the valuations undertaken relevant to both the Valuation of Land Act 1916 and the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991.Providing other specialised valuation activities, services and determinations as/when required for other cluster or statewide government partners; andProviding professional leadership and stewardship to the valuation industry.
