Critical leadership role that will influence SA's creative industries. Reporting to a well-respected, innovative and dynamic leader, COO. 3 Year Full Time contract. Role Details This is a high-profile Executive Director level role. You will be directly responsible for providing both high level strategic and policy advice, along with complete operational oversight of South Australia's cultural institutes and Arts Statutory Authorities, to align legislative, government policy and procedural requirements. A strong commercial acumen will be needed as this role has budgetary accountabilities. Your executive leadership experience will demonstrate the capability to use high-level analytical skills to shape strategic thinking and the provision of strategic advice. You'll need to effectively communicate across government to grow collaboration and networks with key stakeholders, enabling and supporting each institution's board members and other senior stakeholders to optimise performance, governance and operational excellence. You will be able to problem solve and provide solutions in complex environments and manage competing priorities. High level political acumen with an understanding of government processes and accountabilities will be required.
Special Conditions The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program. The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent. Some work outside of normal hours will be required. This role requires a National Criminal History check.
