Executive Assistant to the Head of Junior School
Welcome to Abbotsleigh, a pre-kindergarten to Year 12 Anglican day and boarding school for girls located in Wahroonga, on Sydney's North Shore.
The Role
The Executive Assistant ensures that the Head of Junior School's office operates efficiently and productively, allowing her to focus on high-priority tasks and strategic responsibilities. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled professional, whose role is to support the Head of Junior School in all aspects of her role. The Executive Assistant will serve as the primary point of contact between school administrators, teachers, parents, and students, ensuring clear and effective communication. They will be responsible for providing high-level and effective project and administrative support.
The ideal candidate will support the Christian ethos and values of the School and demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, integrity and loyalty. They will be very well-organised, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.

The Executive Assistant will play a pivotal role at Abbotsleigh by providing essential support to the Head of Junior School, which can be both challenging and rewarding. The role will allow you to utilise and enhance your organisational and problem-solving skills while managing diverse responsibilities like scheduling, communication, and project coordination. About our Team
The full-time Executive Assistant will undertake responsibilities as required by the Head of Junior School. Working at Abbotsleigh means working with a dedicated team of educators and staff, the Executive Assistant will be part of a collaborative, motivating and supportive team. The successful applicant is expected to support and participate in the co-curricular activities and the Christian life of the School. They will work non-term time but have access to 6 weeks of annual leave.
