Based in Sydney, we have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the Schneider Legal team in the capacity of Executive Assistant. Reporting to the General Counsel for the Pacific Zone, you will be responsible for providing general administrative support to the Pacific Legal team and the VP, Regional General Counsel & Compliance Asia Pacific.
Specific responsibilities will include: Providing general administration support, including day-to-day diary management, collaborative file management and formatting, invoice management, travel scheduling and booking, and expense claim management.Small event & project management.Corporate secretarial support, which may include preparing minutes and filing with ASIC and working with other providers or reporting organisations.Coordinating across other internal cross-functional teams like finance and procurement and also external vendors.Supporting the legal team in maximizing digital tools or simplified processes which will streamline work practices in the legal department. About You You are someone who can multitask and has great organizational skills. You are a driven professional who wants to work for a values-based organization whose solutions and technology are leading-edge. You are focused, collaborative, and passionate. Trust, confidentiality, and governance are important to you and the work you do.
In addition, you possess the following relevant skills:
Experience working with an in-house legal team; nice to have but not a must-have.Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 suite: Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and intermediate Excel skills.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage and meet conflicting priorities with agility and solution thinking.Able to work with minimal supervision and relatively autonomously.Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and executive level.Interest in expanding skills in paralegal support.
