Join our team in Sydney as an Executive Assistant supporting the Head of Commodities Global Markets and Macquarie Capital Technology.

What role will you play? You will support the Head of Commodities and Macquarie Capital Technology with extensive diary management, triage the inbox, assist with the preparations of meetings agendas and packs, tracking actions, delegate for appropriate approvals, review and prioritise items requiring sign off ahead of the Executive, organise extensive international and domestic travel, attend and minute leadership team meetings. You will also assist the wider leadership team on any ad-hoc requests and provide some wider team support such as ordering technology, setting up new starters, and organising events.
What you offer Provide highly organised support to our Executive Director who operates primarily from a regional office, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between the team and the organisation. Take a proactive EA approach, working autonomously with exceptional organisation skills and the ability to prioritise. Act as the gatekeeper, work well under time pressure and escalate as appropriate to the Executive in a solutions-based manner. Outstanding stakeholder management with the ability to liaise, interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders at an executive level and build rapport with their respective EAs.
