Known for their commitment to fostering community development, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer, Mayor, and Councillors in delivering exceptional outcomes.
The Opportunity:
This challenging and rewarding role involves providing high-level administrative, secretarial, and project support to the organisation's leadership. You will act as the first point of contact for the CEO, manage sensitive correspondence, oversee logistical planning for meetings and events, and ensure timely execution of tasks in a fast-paced, politically sensitive environment.
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Managing schedules, correspondence, and minute-taking for senior leadership. Coordinating travel, accommodation, and event logistics. Maintaining confidentiality while handling sensitive documents and correspondence. Acting as a liaison between the organisation and key stakeholders, including government agencies and community members. This position is available as either a contract or permanent role, providing flexibility to suit your career needs.

Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Secretary. Exceptional organisational, communication, and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and document management. The ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse and remote community. Willingness to travel and reside in a remote location, embracing the unique challenges and rewards of this environment.
