This position qualifies for a Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (pro-rata part-time/temporary positions less than 18 months), and a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (pro-rata part time), under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.To recognise ongoing service in this role, once the successful candidate has served a qualifying period, they will become entitled to a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (as taxable income).

Act as the Executive's point of contact, prioritise matters and requests and initiate action exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality to facilitate the optimal use of the Executive's time. Coordinate the Executive's diary appointments, records and correspondence, and travel arrangements and schedule and support meetings to facilitate the effective management of the Executive's directorate. Minimum diploma qualifications in Business Administration or relevant field, equivalent to work experience or a combination of study and work experience, or a willingness to work towards these achievements. Experience in providing confidential secretarial and administrative support and services. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal, negotiation, training and liaison skills. Experience in the use of electronic email systems, MS office suite Word, Powerpoint, Excel and databases, including data gathering and preparation of reports. Developed problem solving, coordination and organisational skills with sound judgement and initiative in the resolution of urgent matters and setting priorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high level team within the organisation. Ability to travel, occasionally, for work purposes that may include overnight stays.
