We are currently seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic Excavator Operator to join the team at our Archerfield Recycling Facility in Brisbane's southern suburbs.
This is a full-time position with overtime and weekend work according to business needs.
In your new role with us, you will: Carry out day to day operation and maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment. Operate a heavy vehicle (excavator/front end loader/dump truck). This role will predominantly be on an excavator every shift. Excavator used – Hitachi 360 with pulveriser, as well as bucket and rock breaker attachments. Perform general labour activities including cleaning, hosing and shoveling. This role is a great fit for you if you have: Solid interpersonal and communication skills. Total commitment to risk management and OH&S. A positive work ethic and ability to work within Hanson values and philosophies. Excavator ticket is advantageous. Experience of 1 – 3 years in excavator operations. The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team. What we offer: Monday to Friday, 5:45am starts working 8 – 10-hour shifts.
