YOUR NEW ROLE The role is responsible for effectively and competently planning, preparing and leading the delivery of events at SOH. The role oversees every aspect of an event including the assessment, acquisition, allocation, direction, control and analysis of time, finances, people, products, services, information and other resources to achieve the objectives and agreed outcomes of the event on time and within budget. This position acts as the primary contact for customers who utilise SOH as their event destination from bookings through to settlement and event closure.
ARE YOU THE ONE? Key Responsibilities/skills:
Broad range of experience in theatre and event management, including company/stage/production management, and experience in all types of events. Tertiary qualifications and/or substantial experience in event management. Demonstrated high-level leadership ability in a challenging work environment, including conflict management and negotiation skills. Experience managing budgets and financial processes. Sound knowledge and experience in the management, implementation and interpretation of contracts. Advanced computer skills, proficient use of event management systems. Outstanding attention to detail and project management skills for managing multiple events simultaneously.
