The Role
Play a key role in building a thriving and diverse community as Events Supervisor with the Town of Port Hedland. Are you a seasoned professional in the events industry, brimming with passion and creativity? Look no further! Our vibrant town is on the hunt for an Events Supervisor who can help bring our annual community events to life.
Reporting to the Senior Events Officer, you will be involved in the Town's major events, managing the planning, administration, logistics and delivery. Your position will include the creation of detailed event plans, evaluations and reports that align with the Town's Arts and Culture Plan. You will also be responsible for Work Health and Safety and Risk Management processes, budgets, entertainment, and activity programs.
To thrive in this position you will have substantive demonstrated event management experience and can effectively supervise a diverse team including staff, contractors and volunteers. Tertiary qualifications in the Events or related discipline is desirable, though not essential.

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
