The Mackay Entertainment & Convention Centre (MECC) is seeking a full-time, permanent Events Supervisor to bring your exceptional customer service and venue expertise to Mackay's premier event venues, MECC and BB Print Stadium.

Key Responsibilities: Offer valuable guidance and support to clients, hirers, and the community. Oversee and lead a team of staff and volunteers to create memorable experiences. Build positive relationships through strong customer service, communication, and collaboration to deliver a diverse range of events. Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills: Positive, resilient attitude with the ability to stay calm under pressure. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience supervising and guiding teams in a fast-paced setting. Experience in food and beverage preparation, functions, and events, ideally within a mixed theatre/functions environment. QLD First Aid Certificate. Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate. QLD "C" Class Driver's Licence (or interstate equivalent). QLD Working with Children Blue Card - It is an essential requirement for this position to hold a Working with Children Blue Card.
Under Queensland legislation, you must hold the Blue Card prior to commencing employment – No Card, No Start policy. Special Requirements:
As an Events Supervisor, you will work on a rostered schedule, including evenings and weekends, to ensure every event is expertly managed.
