About the role Part time (0.8) permanent position based in Parkville, VIC. Reporting directly to the Team Leader Client Services you will be responsible for:
Attending and Facilitating Memory Lane Cafe's and coordinating the running of the events Coordinating arrangements such as entertainment and activity bookings, catering and venue hire Preparing and managing correspondence for the event, including sending invitations, receiving replies, answering queries Data entry of client information into databases Building strong stakeholder relationships with both internal and external partners including volunteers, clients, external suppliers and community partners. Providing administrative assistance to various Client Services team programs including Memory Lane Cafe's (MLCs). Regular travel required to regional and metro Victoria areas with the possibility of an overnight stay required on occasion Access to a company fleet vehicle for work-related travel. About you To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
Demonstrated experience in a similar administration role with an event management focus. Significant experience providing the full range of administration services. Fosters teamwork by working together and cooperatively. Builds, fosters and sustains relationships (internally and externally). Understands and uses available technologies and information to maximise efficiencies. Uses effective time management skills to plan, evaluate and organise work demands. Thinks and analyses information to understand issues. No specific formal qualification is required, but qualifications and/or experience in Business Administration or Event Management would be highly regarded.
