Our Outside School Hours Care service at The Basin is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children.
This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 29 hours per week (guaranteed minimum) to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators.
You will work across split shifts to support the service's operating hours of Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 9:00 am (Rise then Shine Program) and 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm (Stay and Play Program).
You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!
About the role Co-managing a team of Educators, you'll have the perfect balance of support and leadership opportunities.
You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years, with the support of a state-specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parentsLead a team of Educators onsite, including roster managementManage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administrationAbout us Partnering with parents and school communities, at Junior Adventures Group (JAG) our goal is to help today's children navigate their tomorrow by supporting children's development through play in fun, engaging environments.
