Urbis, Shaping futures your way! The Opportunity: Urbis has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Coordinator in Sydney! This is a pivotal role in supporting the Regional Director and Group Director by facilitating and enhancing business development through event and sponsorship opportunities.
As an Events Coordinator, this is your chance to significantly impact our team's success by showcasing your exceptional event administration and coordination skills.
You will: Coordinate and manage regional events and functions including the booking of venues, facilities and entertainment and coordination of attendees consistent with the Urbis brand and desired client experience;Attend appropriate events to oversee smooth operations;Manage and monitor emails, events calendar and RSVP lists;Connect and knowledge share with Office Services team and peers in other offices to foster a consistent client / events experience;Support business development and regional integrated opportunities activities, working closely with Regional Director, Brand & Clients team and Directors;Support and organise regional activities including monthly morning teas, regional announcements and regular communications;Oversee the booking of meeting rooms, catering and video conference facilities specifically related to managed events;Diary and email management, including the organisation of meetings and travel arrangements;About you: Demonstrated experience in a similar role supporting multiple people;Demonstrated business development/events coordination experience;Excellent knowledge and skills in Outlook, Teams, and Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, PowerPoint and Excel in particular);High proficiency in both spelling and grammar.Why Urbis?
