Job Description We are currently looking to add a dedicated and professional Events Coordinator to our friendly team at Oaks Port Douglas Resort. As our Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events from conception to completion. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure every detail is executed flawlessly. Key Responsibilities: Plan and manage events, including logistics, vendor selection, and budgeting. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Coordinate with suppliers, venues, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Develop and manage event timelines, checklists, and budgets. Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring everything runs according to plan. Handle post-event evaluations and feedback to improve future events. General Food and Beverage related duties when required. Qualifications To be successful, you will: Have a friendly, positive attitude. Proven experience in event planning or coordination. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Be impeccably presented with excellent communication skills. Be reliable and act with a sense of urgency. Be available to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays. Must be available weekends.
