An opportunity now exists for an Events Administrator to join our Events and Sponsorships team in our Sydney office.
This role will be offered on a casual basis and will be suited to detail orientated individual who has a passion for event management.
This position is responsible for supporting the Events and Sponsorships team with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department.
This role will work closely with the Head of Events and will assist with managing the busy national client events and staff calendar, which include both national and international events.
Candidates will ideally have at least 2 years of events and/or hospitality experience.
Key responsibilities: As the Events Administrator, you will work closely with members of the Head of events along with other teams across the firm to apply your energy and enthusiasm to:  Maintain event calendars, budgets and run sheets for all events Mange the day-to-day administrative needs of the Events team, including: arranging meetings, managing rooming lists, timetables etc.
Develop invitation communications, predominately through the Marketo platform.
Work closely with a variety of event suppliers and hospitality institutions.
A strong understanding and passion for hospitality, events, people and trends within the events industry.
Track event key performance areas and identify items for improvement for future events.
Required skills and experience: To be successful in this role you will have: excellent verbal and written communication skills; exceptional attention to detail and follow up abilities; demonstrated drive and initiative; confidence in working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders; a professional and responsive approach to stakeholder management; an operational mindset for event planning, client and supplier management, bump in, event execution, bump out and post event administration; and an events/ communications degree or relevant tertiary qualification.
