Reporting to the Events and Communications Manager in the MarComms team, your role is split across two vital areas of the organisation – the events team and the reception team. You will be a valued member of a high-performing team that is creative, encouraging, fun, and loves their jobs.
People are at the heart of our events and so your friendly personality and stakeholder management skills will see you build connections with teams across NSW, the ACT and WA.
As someone with meticulous attention to detail, you will ensure no event component, big or small, escapes your attention. You will use your exceptional administrative skills to support meaningful events that ultimately impact our customers. You will have the opportunity to support a wide range of conferences and corporate events, including our annual flagship fundraising gala dinner.
Conscious of deadlines and competing priorities, you are highly organised and can plan ahead to ensure event logistics come off without a hitch.
Reception
As a vital part of our reception team, your 'people first' approach and excellent customer service skills will ensure you champion BaptistCare's brand by being a welcoming face at the Norwest Support Services office.
You will put your well-honed administration skills to good use, providing administrative support to the MarComms and Reception team. Duties: not limited to
Provide excellent customer service, handle phone and email inquiries, and manage deliveries. Assist with logistics for staff and volunteer events, including conferences and awareness events. Manage registrations and liaise with dignitaries and VIPs for official external events. Support the MarComms team with various administrative tasks. Skills and Experience: Essential: At least 1 years' experience in planning and coordinating events Previous experience in office administration or reception roles Experience in digital communications, including website and social media. Strong project management, administrative, and multitasking skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong attention to detail A friendly, professional customer focus Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills Desirable: Formal qualification in event administration Experience working in not for profit organisation Conditions of Employment Reference Checks National Police Clearance Pre Employment Medical Why join us?
