With over 590 properties around the world, our brands include: Andaz, Grand Hyatt, Park Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, HYATT, Hyatt Centric, Hyatt Place, Hyatt House Hyatt Ziva, and Hyatt Zilara The Role You will join an energetic and passionate team of Event Planners who are responsible for coordinating and working with clients to create bold and memorable experiences for all types of events from simple business meetings to our signature #LivingGrand experiences.
Day to Day To liaise with allocated event planners in order to coordinate all aspects of their program and ensure the best possible results, thereby achieving the department's objectives and targets as set out in the annual business plan.
To maximise revenue for food and beverage and up-sell at all opportunities to generate additional revenue.
To manage residential M.I.C.E.
and events groups as allocated by the Director of Event Planning and all events as required and generate future business from existing clients, from hand over to departure, with a focus on relationship maintenance.
To manage short lead team and all business requests received within 30 days of arrival, in both the contracting and execution phase.
To complete tasks pertaining to the overall operation of the department, and support the team as a key leader.
To manage and coordinate, from confirmation to departure, large events (M.I.C.E.
/ Social / Groups).
To generate future business from existing clients, and actively assist in the re-booking process.
Compilation and distribution of the event function sheets and floor plans.
To maximize revenue for the Food & Beverage & Rooms Divisions and up-sell at all opportunities to generate additional revenue.
To complete tasks pertaining to the overall operation of the department.
To ensure there is a strong focus on customer relationship development, maintenance and assistance with feedback and complaints
