Following confirmation of business by the Sales team, the planning, implementation, and execution of the event is handed over to you.
You will support and guide our clients from arrival to departure, including the final settlement of accounts.
This is the perfect opportunity for an individual with prior event planning experience, who is passionate about building relationships with clients and understanding their needs.
Responsibilities Include: Handling all enquiries with a professional manner, demonstrating a high level of care and customer service for events up to 250 delegatesTo actively convert catering only enquiries into a confirmed catering event, demonstrating confidence through call control and upsellingManaging the day to day administration of events, including sending out of proposals within 24 hours, preparation of BEOs and settlement of final accounts.Developing and fostering future and repeat business opportunitiesAttending internal and interdepartmental meetings as requiredWorking closely and collaboratively with key departments across the Hotel including the Sales, Events Service, Revenue & Group Reservations, Engineering and CulinaryOur Ideal Candidate will possess: Prior experience at a similar level in a Hotel or hospitality venueExcellent organisational and time management skillsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsPride in personal presentation and groomingThe drive to develop a career within the Event Planning industryFull Australian working rights and the availability to work full-time onsite Monday to Friday#J-18808-Ljbffr
