About this opportunity:
Due to an internal movement, we are currently looking for an experienced Full Time Event Operations Manager to join our team of like-minded and passionate event professionals. The successful candidate will be the primary contact to all event stakeholders whilst working collaboratively with clients to ensure the operational success of events.

This is an opportunity to be part of a high performing team who oversee the delivery of over 700 events a year. If you love operations, event logistics, people, thrive in a high energy fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail and a passion for events, then this role might be for you!
We are looking for a person who will bring their extensive events experience and their passion for providing luxury service to a large-scale venue. An individual with the capabilities to both lead and work harmoniously as part of a larger team to deliver extraordinary events at ICC Sydney. An operational mind, a natural problem solver, the ability to think on your feet, safety focused, self-driven, positive, resilient with strong customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to establish good working relationships are essential to succeed in this role.
In addition to this, you will also:
Take an active role in planning the operational delivery of assigned events with internal teams to ensure the success of the event and promote repeat business.Identify and communicate the needs of our clients to internal teams to maximise operational efficiencies and guest satisfaction.Monitor all operational activities, anticipate and rectify problems that may arise, ensuring liaison, delegation and negotiation with all stakeholders to effectively deliver events at ICC Sydney.Uphold the integrity of the venue and its processes, monitor and report on general venue upkeep and services and maintain its high health and safety standards.Monitor and advise on all aspects of event delivery, ensure schedules are adhered, changes are communicated and mediate conflicts between internal and external stakeholders.Ensure that administrative tasks are completed, including daily event reports, post event reports, incident reporting, risk assessments and management in use plans.Manage builds, crowd flows and logistics to ensure the front of house delivery is conducted in a safe and efficient manner.Hold valid working rights in Australia.You must be 16 years or over.
