AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.
AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Key job responsibilities
This role will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing critical live and digital experience components of strategic events in Australia and New Zealand for our most strategic first- and third-party events.
In particular, you will:
Apply messaging matrix to demand generation assets (e.g.
web and email) to build a communications plan that attracts target audiences.Project manage demand generation across internal teams and agencies; set timelines; manage budgets and briefs for paid media; create reporting dashboards and review progress of demand generation tactics.Design and execute livestream and on demand online extensions.Own onsite customer journey managing key touchpoints e.g.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Australia/New Zealand (ANZ) is seeking an experienced marketing professional with skills and experience in demand generation, audience acquisition, event and project management.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast-growing business.
As Event Marketing Manager – Audience Acquisition & Digital Experience, you will be responsible for driving registrations through a multi-channel demand generation plan, designing and executing online event experiences and managing event logistics e.g.
registration, signage, event app.
Reporting into the Head of Events ANZ, you will work closely with Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) MarTech, Operations, and Global Brand teams to leverage platform capabilities, optimise user journeys, and report on business goals.
You will work collaboratively with the ANZ Events Team and ANZ Marketing stakeholders to elevate the customer experience from event invitation through to post event follow up.
The role spans two core remits; (1) Audience Acquisition; You will own the strategy and tactics to achieve audience goals attached to our most critical event programs through channels including web, email, and paid media.
You will also own reporting and key elements of onsite logistics and the attendee experience.
(2) Digital experiences; You will own online extensions (livestream and on demand) and you will be responsible for raising the bar on Customer Satisfaction Scores (CSATs) by delivering relevant and engaging content to customers.
You will also own touchpoints including online integrations and event technology.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years' experience in marketing for a B2B technology company or agency
- Event management experience
- Experienced in marketing platforms (Marketo, Salesforce and web)
- Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables
- Team player, but ability to work independently and be a self-starter
- Able to operate successfully in a rapidly changing, ambiguous, and undefined environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Degree qualifications preferred
- Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail
- Demonstrating exceptional business acumen and ability to understand customers' needs
