Join our event team to be part of Rydges Melbourne's transformationAs our incredible events team grows following our re-opening and transformative renovation, Rydges Melbourne is looking for an event expert to join our team and be part of Rydges flagship hotel.Our revitalised hotel delivers a refreshingly local experience, blending iconic hospitality with more than 1500 square metres of new conference and event spaces. Get ready to be excited by the possibilities of The Terrace, an expansive outdoor event space and Centre Stage with its soaring 7 metre high ceilings and 7 by 4 metre LED screen.The Opportunity:As an Event Manager, you will create exceptional experiences within our cutting-edge event spaces. From conferences to cocktail events and gala dinners, you will be part of a team that ensures every detail exceeds expectations.Key responsibilities:Collaborate closely with the conference and events sales team and operations team to deliver the ultimate event experience.Optimise client and internal communications.Manage workflow using event software including preparing detailed and accurate event orders.Cultivate client relationships through on-site client engagement.Champion operational excellence liaising with internal departments.What we are looking for:Experience as an Event Manager.Industrious and innovative approach to client solutions.A meticulous eye for detail.Outstanding organisational skills, time management and ability to meet deadlines.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Microsoft Office suite proficiency; iVvy CRM and Opera experience an advantage.Ability to multitask and proficient at managing multiple events simultaneously.Perks and Benefits:Exclusive discounts on stays at EVT hotels and resorts.Rapid career growth opportunities.If you're ready to shape unforgettable experiences and be part of Rydges Melbourne's exciting journey, apply now and join our team.We appreciate your application.
