Event Manager Sydney CBD Permanent Role – Full Time Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 + Super (Dependent on experience) Hybrid (In-office & WFH) Cox Purtell is currently working with a national membership association operating in the finance industry who are looking to hire a highly motivated, positive, pro-active and experienced individual to become their Events Coordinator – responsible for planning and delivering events and trainings, including marketing these events via digital marketing channels including social media.
Main areas of responsibility include: Responsibility for the planning and delivery of high quality and engaging events and networking opportunities, including: Annual conference, summits and forums Training events Luncheons and round tables Responsible for feeding into and driving the event strategy for the year (c. 25 events per year) Identify events and training needs of members and develop/review/evaluate an annual training and events calendar Budget management and reporting on events Responsible for the annual Social Media plan – including all content creation & execution across key channels including LinkedIn.
Responsible for marketing events to existing & new members, promoting ticket sales & attendee numbers via digital marketing channels including EDM, Website and Social Media.
Create content and deliver speaker briefings in relation to events.
Your Profile: The successful candidate will be an experienced and demonstrated Events professional, with at least 3 years' experience in an end-to-end Events position.
Significant experience in event planning and delivery.
Demonstrated stakeholder management experience.
An excellent communicator – with high level written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and flexibly.
A proactive can-do attitude, an idea generator, who takes on feedback & displays a growth mindset.
Prior experience working in a membership association (not essential but well-regarded).
Any experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Event Management would be highly regarded.
