About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as an Event Coordinator / Event Production Executive at RX (Reed Exhibitions) within our passionate Event Production and Operations team, reporting into our Senior Event Producer.
This is a Permanent full-time role to be based from our head office in Chatswood, Sydney with a combination of work from home to suit your work-life balance!
This role encounters a high volume of customer care, is fast-paced with many deadlines and multiple tasks happening at the same time.
Someone who thrives under pressure but also has the capability to work calmly and professionally would be successful in this role and in this industry.
We are also open to someone who does not have an Events background but has strong customer service, administrative, and organizational skills!
Responsibilities Managing event schedules, critical paths, and run sheets Creating and managing overall exhibitor manuals Providing customer service and communication with exhibitors, visitors, speakers, and internal functional teams Organizing associated functions including feature areas, briefings, social events, seminars, and meetings Providing onsite and pre-show support in various roles Regularly update and keep the Master Spreadsheet up to date Assist in other administrative tasks as required Event guide and other show collateral production Requirements Possess substantial administration and customer support expertise, along with a solid understanding of business principles Event background is nice to have.
Other related experiences/industries include Customer Service, administration/receptionist, and Hospitality Have a can-do attitude with a flexible and adaptive approach to any situation Maintain high attention to detail and work efficiently within tight deadlines while staying organized Possess well-developed oral and written communication skills Customer Service experience is a must, with the ability to deal with challenging or demanding customers Work in a way that works for you We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization.
