The British Dietetic Association is a professional body and trade union and is the leading organisation of nutrition professionals in the UK, representing the nutrition and dietetic workforce across all sectors with over 11,600 members.
Are you looking to work across an exciting range of event formats with a passionate group of professionals who make a difference to the nation's health? The BDA runs more than 100 events a year designed with and for its members. Our small events team provides support and expertise for the overall programme of webinars, postgraduate learning, study days, and conferences.
The successful applicant will: Provide high-quality event co-ordination and administrative support to the British Dietetic Association, including an end-to-end service for allocated events from the BDA specialist groups and branches. Provide quality administrative services via the BDA's event management system, our CRM, website, and other online tools, using templates to efficiently set up registration, promotional mailers, web pages, collation of presentations/recordings, and assets for print.
You will have experience in the co-ordination of a range of event formats for the professional sector, as well as experience of several event management systems. A good understanding of Microsoft Office packages as well as virtual meeting platforms is also required. Ideally, you will have an understanding of the role of membership or professional bodies.
