This includes undertaking comprehensive governance responsibilities, such as conducting detailed Site-Specific Assessments (SSA) to evaluate the feasibility, safety, and alignment of proposed research projects with organisational and regulatory requirements.Additionally, the officer provides vital ethics review and administrative support to the SESLHD Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC). This involves coordinating ethics submissions, facilitating thorough reviews of research proposals, and ensuring decisions are communicated effectively to stakeholders.
