Our building company is going through an expansion and has a need for a Construction - Estimator
We have a position for a person who has relevant residential building experience, preferably from the volume home building market. This opportunity will can provide great flexible working arrangements for people who are happy to work 2 days a week in Bendigo out of our building head office in regional Victoria.
We are looking for someone to come on board and work with our existing construction management team to help deliver residential projects in regional Victoria. Most of our work is design and construct so your skills in obtaining pricing from our existing and new subcontractor based will be paramount.
The Role: Prepare, liaise, evaluate and deliver detailed quotes for projectA strong understanding of the estimating process from the start to completionProvide tender costs to match required tender breakdownsProvide project reportsLiaise with key stake holders within all departments of the businessProvide detailed cost breakdowns for procurement of successful tendersVet and let sub contractsWork closely with our Senior Estimator to deliver project deliverablesExcellent skills with an eye for detail and accuracyKnowledge of Buildertrend Project Management software highly regardedRespond to the requirements of variation costings to support Contract management teamsDevelop working relationships with subcontractors across the stateExperience: To be considered for this challenging, yet exciting role you must have the following:

The role is based out of our Bendigo office however we have a few options for people to consider. We can offer for local residents:
- 38 Hour 4 day week full time in the office then;
- 38 Hour 4 day week with 2 days working from home 2 days in the office once 6 months of employment is completed
For people that reside out of Bendigo:
- 38 Hour 4 day week with 2 days working from home and 2 days in the office with overnight accommodation provided
