Defence exposure + weekly pay cycleAdelaide office location – Monday – FridayLong term projects with stable contractorTHE ROLE Be responsible for all aspects of estimating, going through from assessing tender documents to pricing and negotiations, ensuring accurate and timely submissions for our Defence projects in South Australia and across Australia. You will be responsible for:
Calculation and preparation of quantitiesPreparation of RFQs to send out to subcontractorsReview and assess tender documents receivedAttend industry briefings as necessaryProviding accurate cost and drafting estimatesCollecting and following up on quotes from suppliersMaintain and produce accurate project records and reportsConduct commercial, risk and profitability reviewsComplete tender schedules and documentation as requiredCommunicate tender outcomes to all involvedAssist in responding to clarifications or additional information requestsDetailed tender handover with traceability and support into pre-contracts and deliveryLiaise positively with internal and external stakeholdersGrow subcontractor and supplier baseABOUT YOU Your ability to be flexible and can-do attitude will ensure that you succeed in this role.
