THE ROLE & OPPORTUNITY Visit sites as appropriate and appraise requirements of the scope of work provided.Review specification and drawings to complete bid review form.Issue subcontract bid invitations.Analyse subcontract prices for comparison.Review and update pre-bid strategies.Prepare concept layouts for estimating take offs.Perform quantity take-offs.Perform bid evaluations.Prepare a final estimate sheet for review.Provide pricing in a timely manner.Follow up tender results and update tender register.Update tendering database information (electronic and hard copy).Develop and maintain client relationships.Maintain and update CRM database regularly.WHO YOU ARE Minimum 5 years' experience as an Estimator.Experience working for an EPC/mining company.Site project-based experience.Bachelor/Diploma in Engineering desirable or suitably experienced trade background in the relevant field.Contractual and commercial acumen.
