About: Due to growth and development, our client, a successful tier 3 builder, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join the team.Overviews: Our client has been successfully trading for the last 15 years, working across projects valued up to $15M in the Education and local government sector. Due to growth, they are seeking an Estimator with a track record of tendering for lump sum projects, ideally with a reputable tier 3 builder who can represent the business. We're looking for a detail-oriented, commercially savvy Estimator who can create detailed tenders for Government clients. As the suitable candidate, you will be used to working on 3-4 tenders at any time and have first-class communication skills, being able to build and develop solid relationships with your subcontractor base and clients.Duties:Prepare and manage accurate cost estimatesReview and analyse drawings and documentationAttend interviews and represent the business during the procurement processConduct cost analysis, risk management throughout the projectLiaise with contractors and gain best pricesAssess and value variations and claimsProvide project cost analysisRequirements:Tertiary qualified in Quantity Surveying/Construction ManagementA minimum of 2 years of local experience as Estimator/Quantity SurveyorYou will have worked for a tier 3 builderExperience of working on Government tendersHighly computer literate including BuildsoftProcess-driven approach to your workTender writing experience preferredFirst-class communication skills are essentialWhat's on offer: This is a great time to join a business that is in a growth phase.
