This very successful and well-established builder has been operating for over 9 years, building spaces that make a difference. Their experience in new build construction and refurbishment, of education, government, health and various commercial projects allows them to complete exciting, complex projects. 
Now seeking an experienced Estimator who will be involved in evaluating the necessary requirements during the tendering process and determine appropriate pricing. Subsequently, they will report to the pre-construction manager to compile proposals and accurate cost estimates for materials, time, and labour, ensuring the seamless execution of the entire project. 
Responsibilities: 
Reviewing data to determine material and labour requirements and prepare itemised list. Computing cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes. Experience writing methodologies. Consulting with clients, vendors, designers, and other stakeholders to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. Communicating project information to delivery team. Provide improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures. Identify cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement efforts. Review of tender documentation. Evaluate and compare suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive and accurate pricing Complete tender documentation to reflect the tender proposal Prepare, liaise, evaluate, and deliver detailed quotes for projects A strong understanding of the estimating process from start to completion Analysing of drawings and specifications including creation of take offs The successful candidate will have: 
3+ years' experience in Estimating in the Building and Construction Experience estimating projects for a head contractor Previous experience with Software is an advantage Ability to prioritise workload, and to work under pressure to meet urgent deadlines The ability to work autonomously and in a fast-pace environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal What's in it for you:
