Our engineering and precontract teams are looking to strengthen their capabilities with the addition of a skilled Estimator.
You'll play a key role in tendering for major infrastructure projects.
Your Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesPrepare bids and tenders for a diverse range of infrastructure projects, including urban development, general civil construction, water/ sewer infrastructure, bulk earthworks, bridge and drainage infrastructure, main roads construction and slope stabilisation.Monitor current pricing trends, new techniques, and industry cost developments.Develop accurate estimates based on first principles pricing, including both direct and indirect costs.Contribute to continuous improvement of our tendering systems and support the development and upskilling of the team.Skills and ExperienceTertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.3+ years' experience in civil construction estimating, ideally with a combination of project and estimating experience.Experience in developing and reviewing subcontractor work packages.4-5 years' experience in construction cost planning, tendering, or project delivery on large-scale infrastructure projects.Multi-disciplinary estimating experience on projects valued over $15 million.Ability to lead tenders and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.Proficiency with Expert Estimation software.Projects You'll Be Involved InCommercial and industrial subdivisionsGovernment infrastructureKey mining infrastructureLand developmentRoad infrastructure projects for the Department of Transport and Main RoadsDefence-related contractsAbout HEH CivilAt HEH Civil, we pride ourselves on a strong culture of collaboration and open communication.
