Minimum 3 years Estimating experience
A highly reputable and regarded Building Company/Developer is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team. Our client is well known for the delivery of quality new home builds on newly developed land parcels.
As the Estimator, you will closely liaise with the development and construction teams on all residential projects.
Responsibilities for this Position:

Prepare orders to suppliers and sub-contractors
Maintain and update items and pricing of estimating templates
Manage the Estimating build workflow
Liaise and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, supervisors, and builders
Identify new and efficient processes for completing accurate Bill of Quantities

To be ideally suitable for this position you will have:

A minimum of 3 years experience in Estimating in the Construction/Development Industry
Ability to interpret plans and specifications
Possess a high level of skill to manage a packaging workflow effectively
Preferably a trade background demonstrating knowledge of the construction process
Working knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Relevant tertiary and trade qualifications

Knowledge of Brisbane construction market
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Competent with problem-solving
Self-motivated/go-getter with a desire for accuracy
Well organized and able to meet deadlines
