Our Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Estimating Manager to join the John Holland Guidera O'Connor (JHGO) SA Water Framework.
This role will suit a highly motivated individual with a background in estimation leadership, project management or engineering gained within the construction industry.
As the Estimating Manager you will oversea all estimating tasks that occur within the framework.
More specifically you will be responsible for: All estimating management including the ability to forecast future business needs for estimating resourcesDeveloping and managing a team of estimators that can deliver accurate cost estimates for bid submissionsDeveloping a strategy and implementing it to ensure the estimating team can meet the needs of the businessEnsuring strategy alignment from estimators for the target outcome costing report and other all supporting documentsAll target outcome costing and cost plan developmentAssisting the team of estimators in all aspects of tender review, risk assessment, the identification of appropriate suppliers, technical clarifications, and complete estimate developmentsAll post tender submission activitiesTo be successful in this role you will have: Solid experience in estimating leadership within construction, preferably the water industry.Formal engineering or construction qualifications.Well-developed communication skills coupled with strong problem solving and influencing skills.Attention to detail, an ability to meet strict deadlines and strong numeracy skills.An affinity for with our Guiding Principles of Care, Integrity, Passion, Respect and FutureIn return for your skills and experience, we offer you supportive colleagues and inspiring leadership; training & development opportunities; meaningful and interesting work all within a great culture and work environment.
