The Role Ventia are currently seeking an Estate Management & Operational Services (EMOS) Manager to support our Defence Base Services contract. As an EMOS Manager, you will be based across multiple defence bases both within the Perth Metro and regional WA (when required). You will ensure contract obligations are met in a safe and environmentally responsible manner; to provide leadership and management to ensure that all resources (management, processes, plant, labour, subcontractors and materials) are utilised to maximise the financial returns and return on capital employed for the contract, whilst maintaining good relationships with clients and meeting required levels of service and contractual obligations.

The role will also provide operational management capability to drive the development, implementation and continual improvement of the Ventia integrated management system to meet legal, contractual and other business requirements.

A flexible, supportive and inclusive work environment where you matterWe take our people's careers seriously, helping them to learn and growThere's nothing more important to us than keeping our people and the public safeWe look after each other and foster our people's wellbeingYour duties will include, but are not limited to: Providing Defence Base Services Managers and Defence uniformed customers with a single point of contact for all Ventia related services being provided on that Base, or in support of itCoordinating all joint Ventia activities and services for the Base, so that all work is performed cohesively, and with a common, integrated service delivery goalIntegrating and coordinating the activities of other Miscellaneous Service Providers (MSP), such as the Waste and Security contractors, into the broader services being provided by Ventia on the BaseManaging, directing and controlling the Ventia services participation in surge activities such as major exercises and disaster supportProviding advice to National Service Line Managers on local issues affecting the overall performance of operationsResponsible for overseeing the base profit and loss statements and contributing to meeting required targets and management of the site budgetManaging, leading and taking overall responsibility for all HSE, Financial, Commercial, Recruitment and HR, Business Improvement and Contract Performance Management activities and issues on BaseActing as the principal Ventia representative at Base forums and managing local issues and complaints resolution Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Business Management or equivalent professional experienceStrong people management and leadership capabilityDemonstrated project management experienceA high level of demonstrated management and organisational skillsDemonstrated experience in working within a high pressure, collaborative and consultative work environmentDemonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a high performing member of a teamDemonstrated written communication and IT skillsAn ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders The Company Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
