Reporting to the Roads & Waste Supervisor, this position is residentially based in Mount Isa.
This position is residentially based in Mount Isa on a family-friendly 4/3 or 5/2/4/3 roster.
You will be responsible for: Assisting the Supervisor and crew with maintaining the sealed roads, haul roads, signage, and road infrastructure across MIM lease.Other areas include the MIM Landfill, site waste collection, and scrap steel disposal across the mine site.Displaying a strong commitment to safety.The successful candidate will possess: Previous heavy industry experience would be an advantage.Preferred experience in the use of heavy mobile equipment.Level 1, 2, 3 would be an advantage.HR truck license and forklift ticket would also be an advantage.Sound knowledge of Microsoft software.Valid manual driver's license.Flexible attitude and sound work ethic.Excellent time management skills and the ability to achieve results within specified time frames.Coordinating personnel (including contractors) and equipment required to fulfill the role; crew safety adherence as per site standards and procedure.Knowledge of best practice road maintenance and waste management would be highly advantageous.Strong customer service along with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team environment or with minimal supervision.For further information, please contact:
