Working Hours:Mon - Thurs 08:30 - 17:00 and Friday 08:30 - 16:00
Job Purpose Manage and support the production planning, transport planning and transport teams.Planning, coordinating, and optimising the production schedule and logistical operations to ensure that customer requirements are fully met on timeKey Accountabilities Ensure customer orders are completed efficiently and delivered on timeDevelop production schedules that optimise resources while ensuring efficient use of equipment and manpower.Ensuring transport is used efficiently, plan and manage all logistics operations, including dispatch and delivery of finished goods.Ensure team is a professional point of contact for Sales and Customers regarding delivery times, production updates, and logistical challengesProvide daily leadership to planning and transport teamsEnsure compliance with health, safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practicesAs a key member of the operations team, you will have a strong team working ethic with the ability to communicate customer needs to key stakeholders ensuring needs are metKey Experiences & Qaulifications Proven track record of production planning and logistics coordination within a manufacturing businessStrong understanding of production scheduling and capacity planningUnderstanding of efficient use of transport to minimise logistics costs whilst achieving customer demandExperience of communicating with customers and help provide solutions to scheduling queries or concernsStrong leader who is able to foster a positive motivating high-performance cultureExcellent organizational skills with ability to work on several priorities at onceKnowledge of Business Central IT systemKnowledge of New house building industry and its methods of practicePersonal Attributes Action orientated – Able to deal with problems in appropriate time framesDriven by results – Decisive, confident addressing problems and opportunities, challenging activities to improve performance, demonstrate willingness to challenge accepted methods and standardsEffective communication – Clear concise written and spoken, ability at all levels, customer, supplier and internalHigh Standards – demonstrating a motivation to improve standards and thereby making a real difference, challenging inadequate solutionsIntegrity and trust – demonstrating a sense of commitment to openness, honesty, loyalty and high standards in undertaking the rolePeople management – demonstrating commitment to working and engaging constructively with internal and external stakeholders#J-18808-Ljbffr
